Card Verification & Credit

New accounts require a $5.00 card verification charge to protect our platform from fraud and abuse. This charge is added to your account as credit and matched with $5.00 bonus credit, providing your account with $10.00 total credit.

Sign-up credit is automatically applied to your monthly invoices and doesn’t expire. Any unspent credit will remain on your account until used.

This verification requirement helps us maintain platform security and prevent abuse on our scaling infrastructure.

Credit F.A.Q

  • Can I top up my account with more credit after my sign-up credit has run out?

    • No, sign-up credit is a one-off balance to help you get started on Webslice. Once it runs out, your card will be charged according to your monthly invoice.
  • What happens if my credit doesn’t cover my invoice in full?

    • We’ll apply your credit to the invoice then charge the remainder to your card.
  • Will credit on my account be used before my card is charged?

    • Yes, credit will always be used before your card is charged. If the credit on your account is greater than the invoice total, the invoice will be automatically marked as paid, and no charge will be made to your card.
  • How can I check how much credit my account has currently?

    • If you navigate to the Team Settings page in the Webslice Console, if you have credit available it will be displayed within the current Serverless spend area.
